National Mourning Day 2023 observed
On 15th August 2021, the National Mourning Day was observed
by Mukti Cox's Bazar with due solemnity. The program was presided over by the
Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar where a large number of staff and
volunteers attended wearing black badges to show respect to the martyrs who
were killed brutally on the night of 15th August 1975.
The Member of the advisory committee Advocate Mr. Shibu Lal
Debdas was present as Chief Guest and Founder and former Chief executive
Advocate Sujit Chowdhury, General Secretary Mr. Babla Paul were present in the
program as the guest. The Speakers of this event delivered their speech
commemorating the great contribution of the father of the nation, Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, for the emergence of the independence of Bangladesh as
well as his tireless effort to make a golden Bangladesh.
On the National Mourning Day of Bangladesh our honorable
Guests and other participants addressed the nation to pay tribute to Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman and his family who were assassinated. The Doa Mahafil held on
National Mourning Day, was a symbolic and meaningful gesture
that allowed the people of Bangladesh to collectively mourn the loss of their
beloved leader and his family.
