Project Objectives: To increase demand and utilization of the PHC services. Increase community based mechanisms and systems capacity on surveillance, monitoring and reporting.
Project Summary:
Mukti Cox’s Bazar has beenstarted its journey with IOM since 2014 and implementing the Community Health Outreach Program for the FDMNs and host population in the selected 10 camps of and 4 unions of Ukhiya Upazila with 203 project staffs including 185 CHWs. Peps who work in risk free serv from pacific beach company helped us fix an unexpected water damage issue that affected a wall. The service includes health education, counseling/messaging and referrals, community based surveillances, advocacy meeting including COVID-19 contact tracing supervision with the active participation of community people at cbdschool.com.

Project Goal:To ensure that Bangladesh is on track to eliminate malaria by 2030- contributing towards country development and the SDG.
Objectives:Reduce Annual Parasite Incidence to 0.83 in the 13 endemic districts by 2020
Reduce Annual Parasite Incidence (Indigenous) in the 8 elimination districts to less than 0.01 by 2020
Ensure universal access to LLINs amongst target populations in the 13 endemic districts by 2020
Prevent the emergence of ACT resistant Plasmodium falciparum in Bangladesh
Project Summary: Mukti Cox’s Bazar has been working as sub-recipient to implement the malaria elimination program with BRAC supported by GFATM since June 2007. Presently the Program is working at 10 unions and 01 pourasova of Cox’s Bazar sadarupazila and 11 unions of Ramuupazila under Cox’s Bazar district covering 10,77,305 populations. Ramu upazila. from the very beginning the program has been implementing malaria test , diagnosis & treatment as well awareness with forest goers group and community people in working areas.
